The actress stepped out in London with new cotton-candy shade.
If you’re on the hunt for a fun, pretty way to get your hairstyle in tune with the spirit of spring, look no further than Cate Blanchett’s new dye job. The actress, who’s known for her flaxen, shoulder-grazing mane, updated her recently chopped bob with chunky pastel pink streaks.
The 46-year-old's color, which she debuted during a night out in London on Wednesday, starts off light pink at the roots and grows bolder towards the ends. Quirky glasses complemented her new look. Blanchett isn’t the first actress over 40 to rock pastel hair. Helen Mirren set a precedent when she dyed her silver locks pink back in 2013.
The jury is out whether Blanchett dipped into the cotton candy dye for a role, but either way we’re excited to see how she styles the new shade. Who says blondes have more fun?
